My SAT's blew and my essay wasn't anything to brag about, but, my GPA was pretty good and Resume was outstanding. The Admissions Officers want to have people at JMU who are going to be involved, so they want to see a Resume. Also, I would apply early action, that's what I did and I got in early.

When I applied, the application was very easy, I don't believe there was an essay at that time. I wasn't involved in any sports in High School, but did participate in a number of clubs (though never held an office) and was at the top 10% of my class.
